On a beautiful summer evening in 2006, the Montana Shakespeare in the Parks Company visited Pocatello for the first time.

This professional theatre company tours every summer and presents free performances in over 50 communities to approximately 25,000 people throughout Montana, North Dakota, northern Wyoming, and eastern Idaho. On Friday, July 28, 2006, the company performed A Winter's Tale on the Idaho State University quad. This free production was brought to the community by the Pocatello Arts Council and ISU Summer Activities.

Since then, Shakespeare in the Parks has been brought back each summer to perform and delight. If you haven't had the chance to enjoy one of these performances, keep your eyes open.
